HOW CAN I HELP JOSEPH'S PEOPLE?
What You Should Know About Joseph’s People Before Making A Donation
Joseph's People is a non-profit,tax exempt organization and all contributions are tax deductible. All donations are greatly appreciated, and are used exclusively to support our mission of offering support, guidance, and job counseling services to the unemployed, or those seeking full employment. We have no paid staff and we rely on individuals and local businesses for donations of automobiles, computers, gift certificates, and financial contributions. All donations and financial contributions go directly to the benefit of our members. We have no administrative overhead other than our phone Hotline and web site connection expenses. All donors will receive our Tax Exempt Certification.
Financial contributions are received
in two ways: 1) direct contributions (see Financial Contributions box above) and 2) through
the Donor Choice program of the United Way Agencies.
Joseph’s People is a
designated Write-in agency with United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania
(agency code #10862), United Way of Chester County (they do not issue an agency code)
and United Way of Delaware (agency code #8444). You can specify the Joseph's
People organization with your United Way contributions. Please also ask your
employer about any matching gift program, and ask if that amount is also
sent to the designated United Way Agency.
